Lose...Lose...that all the girls wanted....

Jake baseball has finally ended with help from the girls pleading for him to lose. Sage and Sadi have had enough baseball in there lifes then I have in my 3 centuries that I have lived....thanks mom for not having any boys! Jake baseball season started out in April and just ended on the middle of July. He played for the Dodgers again a minor league team which took first place. From there he was selected to play on the all-star team for Riverton. We took 3rd place in one tournament and then when we went to the all-star tournament we took 3rd again which lead us to the state tournament. There we lost 2 games back to back and we were finally done. He is an excellent player. He played catcher for all of the above teams. The girls are just glad that we are done with baseball for now.

I have flowers growing in my stomach?

The conversation went like this..
Sage: Hey mom I have flowers growing in my stomach.
Mom: Did you just say flowers like the ones we have outside?
Sage: Yes mom I have flowers growing in my stomach, remember you told me that I like to eat dirt when I was a baby and now I have been eating sunflower seeds at the baseball games, and I just drank water this morning and I have been in the sun this afternoon. This is what you told me that a flower need to grow right mom.
Mom: I guess that you have flowers growing in your stomach.

I can not believe that this is what she thinks, I was not sure if I should tell her that the dirt that she ate as a young baby was gone now. I think that is a conversation that I can have with her when I have a lot more time on my hands!!

Sage is a pumpkin eater!!

Today on the way home from dropping Jake off at allstar baseball practice Sage was wanting me to quiz her on some spelling word that she would get as a first grader. I asked her to spell Wal-Mart because we were just passing the store and she started to cheat and looked at the sign. I called her a cheater cheater pumpkin eater. Sadi, Sage, and I giggled and then I start to quiz her on some new words, like store and sat. About 10 word later Sadi yelled out Sage is a pumpkin eater... I was amazed that she related the cheater cheater pumpkin eater to Sage eating pumpkins. She is a smart girl!!
